When I got inspired to knit the little dress I alluded to in my last post, I was consumed by it and set aside my other WIP's. It's like I was compelled to work on it before my wisps of an idea disappeared. About a week and a half later, here's Baby modeling the finished product! (Let me tell you, it is not easy to get a 2-year-old to model! Cheese cubes were involved.)
Whew! Now that it's out of my system, I can go back to the other things I was working on. I'm not posting this one to the gallery just yet, though. I'm going to challenge myself to write out the pattern, at least for the size I made.
Awwwww, so cute!
ReplyDeleteI concur, totally adorable. Please write a pattern, I know lots of babies needing presents and this would be perfect for my remaining balls of cotton ease.
ReplyDeleteOh my - it's wonderfully cute! Beautiful detailing around the hem. Would love to see a pattern for this!
ReplyDeleteThat looks SO cute on her! I just love the way the bottom of the skirt looks like little flower petals.
ReplyDeleteThat is adorable. Congrats!
ReplyDeleteps: Hey, cheese cubes would be incentive enough for me to model too :D
Adorable! I am the mom of two boys but for some reason I want to knit baby girl dresses. I suppose I can always tuck them away for future granddaughters. I'd love to make this one if you are able to write down a pattern.
ReplyDeleteEEEEKKK...it's is so, so cute!! Definitely worth some cheese cubes for bribery!! I love it!
ReplyDeleteAdorable dress! I especially love the bodice - it resembles smocking, which is quintessential little girl.
ReplyDeleteLovely dress! Love the details hem
ReplyDeleteThat is so cute...sometimes I wish I weren't such a selfish knitter. Then I could knit things like this for people's babies.
ReplyDelete...or, wait a minute...I could knit a bigger version for myself!
