Why Didn't I Think of That?
They weather has finally turned a bit nippy here in Texas. I was walking around my house this evening all hunched over and complaining of feeling cold. My husband agreed it was cold, and I wondered out loud whether I should turn up the thermostat. My husband smiled and said, "Why don't you just put on a sweater? You've made so many of them--you're a knitter, you don't need to be cold." And you know what? He was right! I'm now happily wearing my Vine Lace Cardi. And the best news of all is that after I put on my sweater, he put on his Feynman Cardi. I'm waaaaay behind in my blogging, though, so I'll have to tell you about his sweater next time.

Ha! Amazing how we forget how functional sweaters actually are!
ReplyDeleteAt least your husband has a handknit sweater -- mine had to resort to wearing my red Sursa shawl the other day when he was cold. Oops. I ordered yarn for a sweater for him yesterday. (No knitter's husband should be cold, right?)
