Unlike Tracy, I used a Silhouette, so it was much easier! I used the rectangle tool to create strips of paper 1/2" wide. Next, I added text using Arial Bold, 36pt size in all caps. Then it was just a matter of lining up the text to the top of a strip (because I wanted my letters coming from the top, rather than being cut from the middle).
The "Weld" tool gets the wording and the strip to cut out as one unit.
When everything was cut, I gently folded the letters up at a 90 degree angle and used the strips to make a bunch of fun whorls.
so cool! I like this a lot.
