Inspired By

Inspired by Crafty Moods, via Celine Ooi, to pack my daughter's lunch in the form of a little bird nest:


I used some prepackaged meatballs we had on hand, and they were a bit small and misshapen, so this is nowhere near as cute as the original. Still, it was a fun lunch because the kids are watching a streaming video feed of an eagle's nest at school, and she thought this was a good representation of the eaglets. The downside is that my daughter apparently did not hear me warn her in the morning that the eyes were little candies. She ate them together with the meatball on the first one, and of course it tasted funny!
