Some Assembly Required

My knitting progress has been really slow lately. I've had a really busy summer, and there's just not been as much time available for knitting. I've mostly just made progress when I get with my knitting group, but that's only a couple of hours a week. When I do get a chance to pull out my knitting at home, I have a little helper who's eager to help.

She's not the world's fastest knitter, but how can I refuse? :-)

As you may know, I like to block pieces and assemble to check for fit as I go along. Here's a sneak peek at Nespelem. I have about 1/4 of the collar knit up, and that's the last piece.

I'm still chugging along!

  1. Looks fabulous! Love the color. Thanks for your comment too :)

  2. I look forward to seeing the finished sweater. It's such a pretty pattern.

  3. Such a sweet picture of the little knitter! Nespelem is looking great! And what's on the nails? Very pretty!

  4. Looks beautiful! Love that pattern...I really need to evaluate my queue vs. stash...and maybe make a trip to the LYS ;)

  5. Thanks, everyone! And @Gail, that's Zoya Minka on the nails.

  6. It looks awesome so far! You're in the home stretch and probably done by now?!

I think it's great that you have such a willing and eager little helper. She will be proficient in no time.
