A Time to Mend

I have had a very busy summer, which included hosting multiple houseguests. This past weekend, the last of them left, and I found some quiet time to tackle a few things on my to-do list. I had some clothing items that required minor repairs, like sewing on buttons.


This is not such a remarkable thing in and of itself, except that I used Bella Dia's tip for threading your needle and finishing off in such a way that you don't create visible thread tails.



It's something so basic that I've been doing a certain way for over a quarter of a century, and then shazam! I learned that it can be done just as simply, but better.
