Good news, guys! The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) was activated today, and we survived! In case you've been busy following other news, the LHC is a huge particle accelerator that physicists have been drooling over. Some naysayers feared that it could create itsy bitsy black holes that could grow to envelop the earth. So far, we're in luck--we have survived to knit another day!
For my part, I am definitely still here and still knitting. I've just been busy and not blogging. Case in point: I finished Jasmine 2 weeks ago (actually before I finished Juno Regina) and uploaded the pictures to Ravelry, but I didn't share it here. I'd been putting it off in part because some of my pictures were a little too reminiscent of Katherine Harris. Oh well. It will be some time before I get a chance to take new pics, and just in case scientists are wrong about the LHC, I shouldn't procrastinate!
In any event, I really like Jasmine! It''s not the most exciting pattern to knit. But it's classic and practical, so I predict it will get plenty of wear--a good return on the time investment. As always, more information and pictures are in the gallery and on Ravelry.
