Spring Has Sprung

Happy Spring, Everyone!

Congratulations to Jill B, who won my little contest! I've send you a Ravelry message. (You were really close, Betty...just a smidge over).

I'm very happy to have finished my Snow Valley Top. The weather here is on the warm side for an alpaca blend yarn, but it's perfect for me to wear to work in the mornings while it's still cool and be able to survive the air conditioning in my office all day. Without further delay, here it is:

  1. Beautiful! The waist shaping fits you so well. The poofy sleeves are so romantic and springy too!

  2. That came out very nicely. I figured for sure that my guess would be too low and not a smidgen too much! I looked at your ravelry page -- did it really take only 3 skeins?

  3. Whoops! Betty, I forgot to update the amounts on Rav. It was actually 5 skeins, but *just*. It could have easily gone into a 6th skein.

  4. Such a beautiful knit in a great color! I think the Alpaca and Silk was an inspired substitution and the sleeves have just the right amount of "puff."
