Inspired By

Inspired by Dismount Creative, via Sherylrose Ong, to make a faux enamel necklace:

I realized recently that although I'm fond of purple, I didn't have any purple jewelry. What I do have in abundance is purple nail polish! So when I saw this necklace on clearance, I knew what I wanted to do.

The polishes I used were CND Amethyst Sparkle, Sally Hansen Complete Delphinium, Rescue Beauty Lounge Insouciant, Zoya Caitlin, Zoya Kelly, and Sephora by OPI Eve-y on the Eyes. I found it a lot easier to paint the pieces if I used a piece of double-stick tape to hold them steady on a paper towel. I did 2 coats of polish, followed by 2 coats of my favorite fast-dry topcoat from Diamond Cosmetics.

@Gail: I always have a hard time with jump rings. I should probably get your advice.
