Cute Overload

Asianmommy clued me in to a news story about sweaters for penguins. Yes, you read that right! Now, we've seen sweaters for chickens before, and these penguin sweaters are also meant for a cause. Earlier this month, a ship ran aground off the coast of New Zealand and caused an oil spill. The country is still dealing with the environmental effects of that disaster. As part of the effort, a yarn store in New Zealand called Skeinz posted a request and a pattern for penguin sweaters meant to protect the oil-covered birds from accidentally ingesting oil while preening.
