I've finished one sleeve on The International sweater. Tell me what you think.
Here's the original for reference:
I still don't know if it's correct, but this is the lace pattern I ended up using, done over an odd number of stitches:
Round 1: [yo, ssk], k1
Round 2: K
Round 3: [yo, k2tog], k1
Round 4: K
Round 5: k1, [yo, ssk]
Round 6: K
Round 7: k1, [yo, k2tog]
Round 8: K
(For those interested, I'm wearing Zoya Minka and Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Strobe Light.)
Here's what I think: I like yours much better! The color makes a big difference. And your nails are so much nicer :-)
ReplyDeleteFunnily enough, I'm just getting ready to finally take off my tiger nails and put on Brooch the Subject topped with CND 24K Sheer Sparkle! Great minds think alike!
But first I'm enjoying my Clementine, Clove and Bourbon cocktail . . . let's hope it doesn't impair my polish application!
It looks very close, I really think they must be identical. I like yours better because your yarn is not so bulky. It shows the lace better.
ReplyDeleteIt looks great! They look nearly identical but I think yours looks more balanced. Almost finished!
ReplyDeletePS I love the polish combo! SO pretty.
ReplyDeleteI agree with EVERYONE here ... yours looks so much nicer. I think it's because the lace part is less bulky than the original so it slims the wrist to your beautiful hands to ... ooh, those nails!
ReplyDeleteGood lace detective work! I can't wait to see your FO.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! You guys are *way* generous :-)
